Green Sawfly

An almost fluorescein-green sawfly, probably Rhogogaster viridis (Hymenoptera: Tenthredinidae).  Distinguished from the other common green and black sawflies by the green pterostigmas and leading edges of the wings.

Photos taken in Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2010-06-02.
