Moths

A small moth, probably Argyresthia brockeella (Lepidoptera: Yponomeutidae) on a burdock leaf (Arctium sp).

The following moth, which was on the same plant, has more subdued markings but is probably also the same species:

Although these moths were on burdock, the larvae of A. brockeella feed on birch (Betula) and alder (Alnus glutinosa) but there were many alder trees in the area.
