Rhopalid Bug

The rather splendid bug Corizus hyoscyami (Hemiptera: Rhopalidae), on a thistle seed-head.  Not to be confused with the similar firebug Pyrrhocoridae apterus, nor with the rarer Arocatus longiceps.
