Lauxaniid Fly

Another one from back in mid-summer: Lauxaniid fly Peplomyza sp (Diptera: Lauxaniidae).  At first I thought it was a Sciomyzid fly but was put right by Phil Withers at diptera.info.

[In this comment at Diptera.info, 'mark-uk' points out that this must be Peplomyza litura because that is the only Peplomyza sp found in the UK.]

Photos taken in the Wilderness, Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 201-07-15.
