Longhorn Caddis Flies

Long-horned caddis fly Mystacides longicornis (Trichoptera: Leptoceridae).  At the top of the picture you can just see the back end of another caddisfly, but this is black so it must be another species, possibly Mystacides nigra.

Photos taken on the dam at the lower end of the large lake, Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2010-06-20.
