Tachinid Fly

A dark bluish-black Tachinid fly.  At first I assumed it was a Pales pavida, but then I noticed that the tip of its scutellum wasn't reddish.  Over at Diptera.info, Chris Raper and Theo Zeegers identified it as an Eurithia sp, probably Eurithia connivens (Diptera: Tachinidae).

Photos taken in the Wilderness, Whiteknights Park, Reading University grounds, Reading, UK, on 2010-07-30.
