Levels of Proof as a Measure of Integrity

.. I think you can tell the integrity of a scientist by the level of proof that they require for things that they agree with, versus the level of proof for things they don't agree with.

I could see a circular argument here. If I don't agree with something because it hasn't been proven, then, of course, I will require more data than I do for something that has already been proven.
